Shows and Exams

img_e8620.jpgWe put on an annual dance show which for the last few years has taken place at Parkstone Grammar School. It usually takes place on the first weekend in May, Friday and Saturday evening. The dance show is always a lot of fun, very rewarding and a chance to meet students from other classes, although it is not compulsory.

Each year, we choose a charity to support that’s either local or linked to a member of RMD. Over the past 10+ years, we are proud to say we have have raised over £10,000 for charities such as Piam Brown Ward, D-Code, LEAF, PHAUK, Brain Tumour Charity UK, Gully’s Place, CAMMS, Poole Charity Trust, Julia’s House, Naomi’s House, Cystic Fibrosis UK and Mosaic.

Every year, our show follows a story line/has a theme. Show 2024 was a celebration of the 20 years of Rhythm Mix

We also run annual exams with the exam board, UKA Dance. These exams are for all age groups and are usually in July. These are also not compulsory.
